Abandoned Senior Dog Gets Adopted

Sarah Travers, 28, has made it her mission to provide loving homes for senior dogs, offering them a peaceful and caring final chapter. For the past five years, she’s adopted older dogs in need, including a Doberman named Delilah, who passed away in October after a battle with cancer. Before Delilah’s passing, Sarah told her, “If you want to send me another senior, send me a Chihuahua.”

Two weeks later, Sarah received a call about Bam Bam, a 16-year-old Chihuahua who had been surrendered by his family. Despite his health issues, including a mass, dental problems, and potential heart disease, Sarah was determined to give him the best care. “He’s a spunky, active boy,” she said. Now named Louie Bam Bam, he enjoys walks, snuggling with his family, and riding in the car like royalty.

Sarah’s TikTok video showcasing Louie’s new life has gained significant attention, with over 290,000 views.
