Sheila Greene was in the right place at the right time when she spotted a tiny kitten on the side of the fast track lane going down the freeway. She also knew who to call for help: Hope For Paws!

With direction from Sheila, Eldad and Loreta made it to the location after forty-five minutes. Eldad decided it was best to park along the exit ramp rather than on the side of the freeway, and they walked the rest of the way, even stopping traffic to quickly grab the kitten on the other side. It was a dangerous situation but who better to do it than the amazing Hope for Paws team.

After some much-needed medical treatment, pampering, and cuddles, the kitten who Loreta named Napolean, was feeling strong enough to play. So cute!

The question inquiring minds want to know is who in their right mind would throw an innocent kitten on the side of the freeway in the first place? There is clearly no way a tiny, sick kitten made it across six lanes of traffic going sixty-five miles per hour! If it weren’t for Sheila and the rescue team, things would have ended very differently for Napolean.
