Humans may rescue and adopt dogs, but dogs save people’s lives all the time! Whether they are therapy or emotional Support dogs, guide dogs, alert dogs, or just an amazing dog with good instincts, they do so much for people from providing Support to actual medical assistance. Midnight, is another doggy hero!

During extremely cold weather, her human stepped outside to take out the garbage, and Midnight came along to check out the snow. But Midnight was acting strange her ears were all perked up and she wanted to lead her human to the neighbor’s home. He followed, and Midnight led him to a certain spot on the side of the house where they found the 87-year-old woman in the snow.

She had fallen trying to fill her bird feeder and couldn’t get up. Thanks to Midnight, the gentleman and his wife were able to help the woman who had been lying in the snow for about half an hour in the freezing cold.

Watch until the end to hear how proud of Midnight her humans are. The elderly neighbor was grateful and says that Midnight “saved her just in the nick of time, like Lassie.”
