The U.S. government is pushing a dangerous change to the Endangered Species Act (ESA) that could allegedly give corporate polluters a free pass to destroy the habitats of threatened wildlife. This proposal would redefine “harm” so that habitat destruction—like draining wetlands or clear-cutting forests—would no longer count as a threat to endangered species. That’s a gift to oil, gas, logging, and mining giants, and a death sentence for species like the northern spotted owl, the lynx, and the Florida panther.

We must act now to stop this. The ESA has saved countless species by protecting not just the animals, but the land they call home. This proposed rollback could erase decades of progress in biodiversity Conservation.

Sign the petition now to tell Congress: do not dismantle protections that safeguard our planet’s most vulnerable creatures. Sign now. Speak up. Protect wildlife before it’s too late.
