Is there anything more adorable than a tiny baby wrapped snugly in their cozy blankie with a pacifier sitting sweetly in their little mouths?

What if those babies are bats, is it still precious then? The answer is a pretty resounding yes, proving that A. Baby versions of any species on Earth are pretty darn irresistible and B. If they’re all swaddled up and peacefully dozing it’s just about the cutest image ever committed to film.

Being expertly cared for at the Tolga Bat Hospital, in Atherton, Australia, these orphaned babies need to be kept warm and meticulously looked after in order to be released back into the wild once they’re big and strong enough. These sweethearts aren’t pets and should never be, so if you find an orphaned baby bat in your neck of the woods, please don’t attempt to swaddle it and take it to Mommy and Me groups. Leave it to the experts by alerting a wildlife rescue in your area, and get your precious baby bat fix with videos like these, kay?
