“The North Pole is only a frozen ocean and it’s melting away faster and faster. Santa can no longer function. His warehouse is flooded. All the presents are ruined,” Greenpeace reports.
Gasp! Christmas without Santa, what can that mean?!
Well…that we all NEED to act now to (1) stop rapid sea ice melt, (2) halt Big Oil drilling in the Arctic, and (3) minimize the effects of climate change before it really is too late to return to a world we’re familiar and happy with.
Check out Santa’s dire message to the world below, which is a part of Greenpeace’s Save Santa’s Home campaign. After you watch, be sure to add your name here to protect the Arctic, and spread the word.
Loved this video? Then you might be interested in the holiday cards that go along with the campaign designed by celebrities, artists, and designers like Vivienne Westwood, Kurt Jackson, and Jarvis Cocker.
One of our favorites? A card that reads, “Yule won’t be so cool when Santa’s snow melts,” by jewelry designer Jade Jagger. Awesome, right?
Check out this card and more in this slideshow from The Guardian.

Why the hell can’t Greenpeace focus on more serious immediate dangers, like the armed H bomb, in the Savannah river ?
Silly Greenpeace Santa lives in Finland. While you are at it ruin other holidays you eco-terrorists.
