WATCH: Scientist Vandana Shiva on GMOs and the Food System

Vandana Shiva is a philosopher, environmental activist, author and eco feminist. Shiva is a guest on Bill Moyers’ show, Moyers and Company  (beginning July 15).

The clip below is an excerpt of her interview on the show, where Shiva talks about the corporate drivers of GMOs and explains how “everything begins with seed,” and addresses the perils of patenting them. She also encourages each of us to ask: “Where am I complicit in the war against the Earth?”
