A sports fisherman was on a rowing boat on a river in Brazil with his tour guide when they threw a lifejacket to a dog that appeared to need help. However, after the ‘dog’ grabbed onto the lifejacket, they realized it wasn’t a dog.

Once the monkey grabs onto the lifejacket, the pair starts driving the boat towards shore. However, the primate decided to climb onto the vessel and wait out the journey there. The pair were terrified, as male monkeys can often be aggressive. The monkey, however, didn’t want any trouble and climbed to the top of the boat until they got to shore.
When they were close enough, the grateful animal leaped into a tree and swung back into the jungle. This small action from these men was likely a huge help for the animal, and we are glad that he safely got back on land!
