Mother Cat Adopts Abandoned Baby Squirrels and Raises Them Like Her Own Kittens! (VIDEO)

Seeing a little baby in need can bring out the compassionate side of anyone, and as this video shows, the same applies for animals! The sweet mother cat featured in this video has taken on the very important responsibility of raising a family of abandoned squirrel babies.

Without a mother to take care of the little ones, there was a very slim chance that the lost squirrels would have survived. Thankfully, the woman who found these babies had a cat who had just given birth to a litter of her own kittens. While she wasn’t certain how the cat and kittens would react to the tiny squirrels, she decided to give it a try.

As you can see from the video, the plan worked, and Kit Kat took them in as her own (she even lets them nurse from her)! The good news doesn’t stop there, though, as they baby squirrels have also been accepted by their new siblings too!

We absolutely adore videos that showcase the compassion and empathy that all animals are capable of. The world would be a much better place if everyone took a page out of Kit-Kat’s book!
