Do you ever get the feeling that your cat really doesn’t care about any of your stuff? You’ve tried and tried to explain to them that the vase that they like to playfully bat at is a family heirloom and that it’s worth thousands of dollars, but it’s almost like everything you say goes in one ear and out the other. The next thing you know, Aunt Bertha’s treasured vase is shattered into about as many pieces as it was once worth in dollars. Sigh.
Well, what can you do, when you signed on to live with a cat you knew it would come with some obstacles. On the bright side, you can always count on the fact that your cat loves you, the same just can’t always be said for your stuff. Hey, maybe they’re just trying to teach us a lesson in materialism. Or more likely, just think it’s funny to mess with us.
