Man Thought This Baby Squirrel was Dead Until He Saw Him Twitch, See What He did Next (PHOTOS)

Rob is an orphaned baby palm squirrel in Sri Lanka who was destined to die had he not met Paul Williams, a photographer there on assignment for the BBC. Williams found Rob and thought he was dead, until he twitched. Then, something magical happened. Williams took him in and nursed him back to health! He also turned little Rob into a superstar by taking stunning photo after stunning photo of the tiny squirrel.

Rob is only about the size of one finger!

Williams had to hold him to feed him with a syringe, at first.

Along the way, Williams realized Rob also had a special talent for sleeping just about anywhere. Lap tops…

… Coffee cups…

Even historic monuments can’t keep this little baby awake.

The two became fast friends, exploring Sri Lanka, having adventures, and taking lots of selfies!

They had awesome car trip together.

And of course, they had lots of naps!

Who knows? Maybe little Rob will grow up to be the first squirrel photojournalist!

Or, the first narcoleptic one.

He’s certainly comfortable with a camera!

One thing’s for sure, Rob has a bright future ahead of him, all thanks to Paul Williams’ kindness.
