Patti Nyman holds a Master’s degree in Social and Political Thought from York University, Toronto, and has taught undergraduate courses in the social sciences. She is the Canadian Coordinator for Animal Place’s Food for Thought campaign – where she works with humane societies, SPCAs and rescue groups to take animals off the plate at events. Patti also works with Animal Place on social media and educational materials, and in her spare time, acts as personal assistant to two rescued cats and a rabbit.
