Need a karaoke buddy? Why not ask this rescued white German Shepherd. The pup, named Spirit has Adele’s “Someone Like You” perfectly in pitch as he howls along to the song while watching a television performance. Thanks to YouTube user Meztikal, we get a front row seat to this adorable performance.
Spirit isn’t the only dog making it in the music business though. There’s Oakley, the Australian Shepherd puppy whose favorite way to wake up is by howling along to the Frozen hit “Let it Go,” and Shiraz who can’t help but get into the beat when Pharrell’s “Happy” comes on the radio.
According to animal behaviorists, when dogs hear a human voice singing out, their pack instincts get into gear and they join the chorus. Just think of your dog as a member of your own little Partridge family.
