We think all animal lovers would agree that the morning news report would be much improved with the addition of a few furry friends. Just imagine how great it would be to wake up and watch the morning news update if there were puppies running across the bottom of the screen. We’ve imagined what it would look like if there was a cat-caster featured on all our favorite news shows – but what would it be like if there was a dog featured in the news instead?
Well, the news team on Global Edmonton found out exactly what this would be like. During the weather forecast, weather man Mike Sobel brought on a dog named Ripple from the Edmonton Humane Society. Unlike the docile cat newscaster who is content sitting on warm monitors and napping for the entire forecast, Ripple wanted to play. As we know, dogs will be dogs and have no regard for the fact that they’re on TV! Watching Sobel try and remain professional and read the weather report while Ripple goes wild playing with his leash is sure to make you fall on the floor laughing. If you ask us, we think the weather should be delivered with Ripple everyday!
