It’s any child’s dream to have a pet of their very own, and when this little girl is told the best news of her life, this dream becomes a reality.
In the winter of 2013, this family volunteered themselves to foster two helpless kittens that were starving on the streets of a nearby city. When they went to pick up the cats, an unexpected third kitten with white fur decided to present himself to the rescuers. Knowing that they couldn’t leave one kitten behind while taking the others, the family decided to care for all three.
When the little white kitten, Hector, met his seven-year-old rescuer, Caelyn, they bonded instantly. Though Caelyn loved Hector, she knew that her responsibility as a foster parent was to help look after the kittens and find their forever homes … even if that meant giving Hector up to a new family. Caelyn worked hard every day to help her parents care for the kittens, and on Christmas, she found out that her selflessness helped find Hector a forever home … with Caelyn as a forever friend.
