Sisters Launch International Vegan Business Directory

Siblings Sam Roblett and Jane Elliott are on a mission to cultivate collaboration and Support within the global vegan community with the launch of their innovative project – an international vegan business directory.

The directory, which has already amassed over 800 listings spanning across 150 categories, serves as a comprehensive resource hub for vegan entrepreneurs and vegans. Among its diverse range of categories are mainstays like Food & Drink and Beauty & Cosmetics, alongside specialized segments including Catering, Fast Food, and Haircare Products. What sets this directory apart is its accessibility – it’s free for both businesses to list and users to explore.

The seeds for this endeavor were sown by Sam Roblett, who initially established the Vegan Business Networking Facebook and LinkedIn groups. With a membership exceeding 6,500, these groups have become thriving ecosystems where vegan business owners can connect, share insights, and forge partnerships. Roblett’s motivation stemmed from a personal experience at a networking event devoid of vegan options, prompting her to create spaces that catered to like-minded entrepreneurs.

Recognizing the need for a centralized platform that transcended geographical and sectoral boundaries, Roblett enlisted the expertise of her sister, Jane Elliott, and her son’s business, Bespoke Software. Together, they developed a user-friendly directory accessible to all, complemented by a wealth of resources available on the Vegan Business Networking website. From insightful articles on kickstarting a vegan enterprise to a curated list of vegan-centric organizations and documentaries, the platform serves as a springboard for aspiring and established vegan businesses alike.

Moreover, the ecosystem of Support extends beyond the directory, with initiatives such as the Vegan Business School offering online courses tailored to budding entrepreneurs, alongside communities like Vegan Business Tribe and events like the Vegan Women Summit, which celebrate and empower women leaders in the industry.

“There is strength in numbers. We work together to plant seeds and grow a thriving plant-based compassionate world. We can’t wait to welcome you to our communities, so join us now,” shared Roblett.
