If you have ever wondered what going above and beyond for an animal looks like, just check out this video. Days after a massive avalanche hit the town of Salgar in Antioquia, Colombia, a stray dog got trapped in a vicious river current. The Liboriana ravine was completely flooded and the dog stood little chance of survival. That is, until the police stepped in.
Courageously jumping into the rushing river, the officers managed to haul the dog to safety on land. Once they were on shore, the dog appeared to be in shock and was struggling to breathe. Performing some quick CPR and rushing the dog to their medical truck for full treatment, the officers were absolutely determined to save this small pup.
While we don’t know what condition the dog is in currently, the action of these brave officers is incredibly admirable. Thank you for your kindness!
I am extremely pleased and grateful to this brave police officer that cared so much about a little dog, and his co-workers that helped him render medical assistance to the little guy. I hope he finds a wonderful forever home.
