This Video of a Chick Snuggling and Hugging a Cat Will Melt Your Heart

We’ve all seen the cartoons of Sylvester the cat chasing after little Tweety Bird in the Looney Tunes cartoons but not all cat/bird relationships are that comical or about the chase. In this video, Oscar the cat and Sydney the chick have a much different relationship, one that involves less chasing and more cuddling and hugging.

Yes, it’s another cat video but who could resist watching the interspecies hugging between a cat and a bird. It kind of gives you a gleam of hope that if these two can be friends then perhaps there’s hope for the rest of us.

In the cute clip, small little Sydney crawls right up under Oscar’s front leg as he lounges around. Once in the right position, Oscar’s leg gently falls to hold Sydney in place. Their relaxed looks makes it easy to see that these two are very comfortable around each other.
