When rescuers from Animal Aid Unlimited found this sweet pup, his back legs were tied up and he couldn’t move the lower half of his body. They brought him in for veterinary care and found out that he had a spinal injury, which caused him so much pain that his whole body was extremely stiff.
At first, he was calm and happy to have shelter and food. Thus, they named him “Comfy.” However, he soon became a bit less “comfy” around the staff. He started barking and growling, which made rehabilitation a lot harder. Fortunately, they were extremely patient and understanding with the sweet dog.
With a lot of love and patience, Comfy began to trust humans. He let them help him do physiotherapy and even began to enjoy it! After almost six months, Comfy gained back his ability to walk and get up by himself! The transformation of Comfy is incredible to watch and warms our hearts! We’re so glad that this sweet pup got the care that he needed and the love that he deserves.
