It looks like human moms aren’t the only ones who take their kids to the park. Kevani McDonald of Whistler, BC Canada, was washing dishes when she noticed her cats watching something intently at the back door. When she followed their gaze, she saw that a mama black bear had taken her cubs for an afternoon of fun on her backyard swingset!
Watch these three cubs explore the playground much like human children do. They wrestle with each other, investigate the equipment, and one chews on the side of a swing. Hmm…maybe they play a little differently than normal kids, but they sure look cute doing what they’re doing! (I’d keep my own children away from the backyard for awhile though.)
This bear family clearly enjoyed their day of recreation, and according to McDonald, they hung out on the playground all afternoon, swinging around and even climbing the slide ladder. Animals just want to have fun!
If her babies were there, I knew momma bear couldn’t be far .
