Brave Man Dives Into Sewer to Rescue Trapped Dog (VIDEO)

When the city of Cartegena, Colombia, cleaned their sewer systems, they put cement planks in place, rather than the usual metal lid covers, which proved to be an accident waiting to happen. The gaps in the planks left just enough room for an unsuspecting child or small animal to fall through – and unfortunately, this is what happened to the stray dog in this video.

With no way to escape on his own, the dog was at the mercy of fate. But thanks to the heroic efforts of one man,  the trapped dog will live to see another day! Once he sees the dog fall in, the man lowers himself into the sewer without hesitation! In no time at all, both are safely back on land.

It’s selfless acts like this that help our fellow animals that we should all strive for.
