Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup regular rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 1/2 a banana, mashed, or 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mason jar.
  2. Cover with lid and shake, shake, shake until combined.
  3. Store in the refrigerator overnight (or for several hours). Eat cold or warm up in the microwave!
