There are a few variations to making peppermint bark. But it’s all pretty much the same – melt the chocolate, add mints. It is so easy to make! Perfect for your holiday guests, hostess gifts, or all around holiday noshing.

Peppermint Bark [Vegan]

Cooking Time



  • 1 10 oz bag Vegan Chocolate Chips
  • 1 10 oz bag Vegan White Chocolate Chips
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 Drops Peppermint Essential Oil
  • 8 Organic Candy Canes


  1. Line a 9x13 pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Place unwrapped candy canes (or mints) in double sealed plastic bags and crush. Set aside.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, add bag of chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon olive oil.
  4. Heat one minute.
  5. Stir, and heat in 20-second increments until melted.
  6. Add 2 drops peppermint essential oil and stir.
  7. Pour evenly into pan.
  8. Let sit in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
  9. Repeat for white chocolate.
  10. Stir in crushed peppermint candy.
  11. Pour on top of dark chocolate.
  12. Top with remaining crushed peppermints (optional)
  13. Let sit in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
  14. Break into small pieces.
