This oatmeal will have you excited for breakfast because what's better than chocolate for breakfast?
Mocha Overnight Oatmeal [Vegan]
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/2 a banana, mashed, or 2 teaspoons maple syrup
- 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon instant coffee granules
- 1 (rounded) tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- pinch of salt
- Combine all ingredients in a mason jar.
- Cover with lid and shake, shake, shake until combined.
- Store in the refrigerator overnight (or for several hours). Eat cold or warm up in the microwave!
