Known best for winning the ninth series of The X Factor, British singer-songwriter James Arthur revealed that after watching the groundbreaking documentary What The Health, he decided to switch to a vegan diet.

“I’ve been vegetarian for a little while. But then I watched the Netflix documentary What The Health and now I’m vegan,” James told the Mirror in August. Since then, he’s stuck to his plant-based diet, and is singing its praises now.

When asked by Nottingham Post whether he was still eating vegan, James responded: “Yeah and I feel really good at the moment. It’s only been a couple of months that I’ve been off the cheese. I never really had a lot of dairy in my diet anyway because as a vocalist it’s not great. And I haven’t been eating meat for the best part of a couple of years.”

“I feel energized. I feel my head is clearer,” he said.Untitled 49 1200x750

James, a self-professed former cheesy pizza enthusiast, is clearly thriving on a plant-based diet, but we have some suggestions for him if the ol’ dairy cravings ever strike…
