Last week, vegan brand Violife released their first vegan butter option to their product line. This buttery spread is called Vioblock and is the first vegan butter to be launched by them.

This vegan butter option is fortified with B1, B2, B6, and B12 vitamins. Their recipe includes sunflower oil, coconut oil, and rapeseed oil to create a fatty and buttery alternative.

Not only is Violife’s butter spreadable and perfect for baking. It is also said to have that familiar and hard-to-find buttery flavor. Perfect for vegans who miss their dairy butter options.

UK Marketing Manager for Violife Bianca Harris said, “Launching our first butter alternative Vioblock is a milestone moment for Violife. As we look to expand our product offering further within the dairy alternatives category.”

This Greece-based company is known for its line of vegan cheeses and spreads, but now they are hoping to expand. To expand their product lines to include even more variety for their vegan customers.

Though they are mostly available in Europe. Violife has expanded to sell in more than 50 countries worldwide including America. Where they first got their recognition once Whole Foods began to carry their products.

Harris explained, “With dairy alternatives out-growing the dairy sector by almost three to one, yet representing only five percent of the total dairy sector. There is sizable headroom for growth of the dairy alternatives sector and expansion for Violife beyond the dairy alternative to cheese category. Whether flexitarian, vegan, or vegetarian. We look forward to introducing supporters of the brand to an expanded product range in the future.”

It is safe to say that we can look forward to seeing even more vegan products coming from Violife in the near future.
