JUST Egg, the plant-based egg made by San Francisco company Eat JUST announced it has acquired a 30,000 foot factory in Minnesota. As demand for plant-based food grows, the company also announced it’s partnership with Whole Foods to put vegan breakfast sandwiches on 63 stores’ breakfast menus in January.
Prepared Foods Associate Coordinator Megan Tucker said of the launch, We are always looking for great partners to help us expand our vegan options, JUST Egg is a fantastic product we know our customers are going to be excited about.” The vegan sandwiches will feature Good Planet vegan cheddar, Gardein sausage and Lightlife bacon.
