A vegan café has opened at luxury department store Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills.
The new eatery, Café on 3, features a full vegan menu with gourmet offerings from executive chef Alan Campois Arroyo, including a Wild Mushroom Toast with cashew truffle aioli, roasted broccolini with romesco, and a truffle cheese salad with walnuts, according to Viva Glam.
There will also be plant-based dessert options from chef Yvonne Ardestani of Yvonne’s Vegan Kitchen.
“It is awesome to see the plant-based movement making it into the mainstream, especially in places where you wouldn’t normally expect it,” Ardestani said. “It just goes to show that people are making more decisions based on their health, our environment and are more conscientious about how the choices they make today deeply impact the world tomorrow.”
Nice work, Neiman Marcus! We’d love to see more department stores open their own in-store cafés with healthy vegan food options.
Café on 3 is now open at Neiman Marcus’ Beverly Hills location.
