New Yorkers can step away from their busy schedules and crowded offices in Midtown, if even for a moment, to enjoy a quick and delicious lunch at the new Urbanspace food hall, located at 570 Lexington Avenue. This 51st Street mega-hall has already proven popular, as noted by its ample amount of customers and continuous crowds. On the second floor, you’ll find seating, and below, you’ll find plenty of vendors and options to choose from.
In the midst of all the cheese pizza and fried chicken tacos, you’ll be able to spot some enticing vegan options.
Urbanspace vendors that are offering vegan options!
Plant-based options are becoming more and more prevalent as the demand for vegan food grows. Luckily, this new Urbanspace location has some vendors that offer meals for vegans and vegetarians. If you’re craving mouthwatering Taiwanese food, Bao by Kaya offers a Buddha Bao Veggie roll and spring rolls for a little appetizer. Liquiteria will quench your thirst with dairy-free nut milk (think strawberry cashew milk and coffee almond milk) acai bowls, and refreshing smoothies. You’ll also be able to find Aussie company Tuck Shop there, offering a kale salad, veggie pot pie, and veggie chili. Taim’s menu provides you with plenty of falafel options and pita wraps to try. Roberta’s also has a vegan pizza option called the Roosevelt.

Bao by Kaya has a veggie roll that is stuffed with fried tofu and served with carrots, cilantro, cucumber, sweet chili sauce and crushed peanut. Their Buddha Rice Platter also features fried tofu, Vietnamese pickled daikon, and carrots with sweet chili sauce. Their veggie spring rolls are filled with vermicelli, cabbage, and carrot, and are served with sweet chili dipping sauce.
Even if you can’t make it to Bao, you can still get your friend tofu and spring roll fix from us.
