Plant-based meat has been taking over the food industry and supermarket aisles. The success of some of these brands has prompted even store brands to compete such as Trader Joe’s with their high-protein vegan burger.
Now, just in time for Memorial Day and summer, the time of cookouts and barbecues, Trader Joe’s has launched another vegan patty, and it’s something that’s pretty rare. Customers have spotted in multiple stores nationwide, a Turkeyless protein patty.
Most plant-based burger patties are made to resemble meat, at least the wave of new realistic ones now available in stores, not the classic veggie patties. But Trader Joe’s is appealing to eaters who usually prefer turkey over beef and now they have a reason to switch to plant-based protein too!
