So Delicious, a coveted and well-known dairy-free delight-creating brand, has unveiled a new plant-based venture! In addition to their yogurt alternatives, creamers, and tasty beverages, they’ll be introducing new vegan frozen mousses in seven different flavors.
These 300-330 calorie dessert pints will come in caramel swirl, mango swirl, peanut butter swirl, strawberry swirl, lemon swirl, chocolate chip and cranberry cherry swirl.
Senior brand manager, Lauren Start, said, “We are really excited about these new pints. There is so much to love; they are shamelessly decadent with 300-330 calories per pint so you can enjoy a serving for dessert and not compromise on taste. They really are So Delicious.” She added, “In developing frozen mousse, it was important for us to balance the right creamy, light mousse-like texture with indulgent swirls of flavor, all crafted with carefully selected ingredients for a delicious treat that can be enjoyed anytime.”
Dairy-free ice cream and all that resembles it is currently trending. New launches of dairy-free varieties now make up 4% of all new ice cream launches, according to market research firm Mintel. According to BBC, ‘Amid rising numbers of people switching to a diet that eliminates or cuts down on dairy-based ingredients, ice cream makers have embraced the trend, particularly in the United States.’
As more consumers embrace the dairy-free trend, the more plant-based frozen desserts we’ll have to pick from.
