Sacla, an Italian sauce brand, just announced the addition of a new vegan mayonnaise product to be released in supermarkets across the UK like Sainsbury’s, Co-op, and Ocado. Sacla is well-known for its sauces and already sells vegan pesto and pasta products. Now, the release of a plant-based mayonnaise product provides consumers another vegan option.
The mayonnaise is gluten-free, as well as free from eggs, dairy, and other allergens. It is described as being thick, creamy, and indulgent.
Sacla UK managing director, Clare Blampied said, “Food must be joyful and there’s no compromise to taste or texture with our new free from mayonnaise. We hope it’ll become a store cupboard staple in non-vegan households too.”
This product will be available in January of 2018 for £2.29.
