The more vegan options available to us, the better!
The fast casual favorite, Pret A Manger, was founded in 1983 and has since launched 500 different shops in nine countries. Recently, Pret has revealed its new spring menu with a few new vegan options that’ll excite every plant-based eater.
Its vegan menu will feature a dark chocolate and almond butter cookie, a vegan baguette sandwich with avocado, olive, and tomato, a vegan chili flatbread, and a mango and banana sunshine bowl. The vegan chili flatbread is made of avocado, corn, black bean salsa, pickled onions, red peppers and salads leaves.
Hannah Dolan, head of food and development said, “I’m especially excited about the vegan cookie, which combines almond butter with dark chocolate and sea salt to make the perfect afternoon treat.”
Other vegan options on the menu include a Falafel Power Pot, filled with falafel, sliced cucumber, mint and pomegranate seeds over beet hummus, a Moroccan Lentil Soup as well as a Miso Soup.
Lately, Pret A Manger, along with many other restaurants and cafes, have increasingly catered to vegan lifestyles by offering more veggie-friendly options. It also opened Veggie Pret Shops in London, which were at first pop-ups and are now mainstays.
