PLNT Burger is expanding to New York City to offer its uniquely-crafted plant-based burgers! The plant-based location will officially open on January the 24th.

PLNT Burger currently has nine existing locations across the Mid-Atlantic but is looking to expand even more in the new year.

In an email to One Green Planet, Chef Spike Mendelsohn, Co-Founder of PLNT Burger, “It’s a great feeling to return to my original culinary stomping grounds in the City, and we’re thrilled to open our doors for New Yorkers to experience delicious burgers that are both nutritious and planet-friendly.”

Seth Goldman, social entrepreneur brand like Honest Tea, Beyond Meat, and Co-Founder of PLNT Burger, said, “Opening our first brick and mortar store is a huge milestone for us, and the fact that it’s located in the heart of New York City makes it an even bigger deal for us and the plant-based movement. It’s a critical step toward our vision of helping people eat the change they wish to see in the world.”

This plant-based fast food location will be serving up some of their most popular vegan options, including the PLNT Burger, which features a Beyond Meat patty as well as the Crispy Chik’N Sandwich featuring a Gardein ultimate patty. The burger joint will also be serving up the classic sides, such bloomie petals and wavy fries.
