Besides ice cream, what ice cold treat embodies summertime? Ice pops. L.A-based company Dream Pops are an innovative company turning superfoods into warm-weather treats, and they’re going nationwide with their shipping.
Their aim is, “To become the Willy Wonka of plant-based confections starting with our first product the Dream Pop and extending into adjacent better-for-you desserts.” All of their tasty products are vegan, have less than 100 calories, and less than 7 grams of sugar, making them perfectly healthy. Also, they’re sweetened with coconut blossom sugar
If you make an order online, it’ll show up in 48 hours, as cold as it was when it was made. Their flavors, you ask? Mango raspberry, coconut latte, vanilla matcha, variety packs, and berry dreams, which are made from strawberry, raspberry, and passionfruit.
According to their Instagram page, they stated that you can go to one of five Starbucks locations in L.A from now until October 5th. They’re working to reach nationwide distribution by January 2019.
They stated on their website, “We didn’t imagine a spontaneous trip to Colombia and a chance encounter with a vibrant paleta stand would offer penetrating clarity into the future of food. But, through the vessel of frozen fruit pops, whose appearance and flavor hypnotized us, we were inspired to brighten the confection world.”
The locations are:
- La Brea and 4th
- Melrose and Stanley
- Third Street Promenade
- Wilshire and Santa Monica
- San Vicente and Barrington
