Put down your Cornflakes and soy milk, because we are having breakfast at Tiffany’s! Tiffany’s on Fifth Avenue in New York City opened their first ever eatery called The Blue Box Café, and we are getting ready to make a reservation! This cute little café is located on their newly renovated fourth floor, and is decorated in Tiffany’s signature robin egg blue. They offer breakfast, lunch, and tea time service, and although the whole menu isn’t plant-based, there are so many vegan options on the menu to choose from. The opening week was packed with locals and tourists alike, some people even waited in line for over two hours! Here’s a glance at the vegan options on the menu:
The breakfast menu includes options like this avocado toast topped with radish, edible flowers, sunflower seeds and sprouts! You could also try the seasonal fruit with berries.
For lunch, the cafe offers great options like vegan mushroom soup, pickled mushrooms, and roasted cauliflower with romanesco similar to this Simple Roasted Cauliflower by Karielyn Tillman.
The cafe also offers tea time service, where you can choose from a large variety of teas. Try their olive and hummus tapenade if you are looking for something to snack on.
While the options are abundant, be ready to splurge a bit when dining at this cafe because unlike Audrey Hepburn’s simple danish and coffee, this place is a little more extravagant. Breakfast is $29, lunch is $39, and tea time service is the most expensive, at $49. However, if you are an Audrey Hepburn fan and have always wanted to experience “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, this is the place for you.
