There’s a hot joint in town where cars pour out of the drive thru, anxiously anticipating one thing: a vegan fast food-style burger. At Plant Power’s Encinitas location they run an 100 percent vegan fast food restaurant complete with a drive thru, and the hype is big.
From the Big Zac, a plant-based take on the Big Mac, to soft served style ice “cream,” to a vegan take on a fish filet sandwich, Plant Power is giving consumers exactly what they want: a healthier alternative to traditional fast food. Zach Vouga, co-founder of Plant Power, talks about their recent surge of business. He says that, “We never imagined it would be like that. I’ve never seen such an intense demand for something. We are slammed hour-in, hour-out, everyday since we’ve opened our doors.
Plant Power opened their first location in Ocean Beach, California in 2016, and recently opened their Encinitas location which has been bustling with business since the very first day.
The team at Plant Power believes that there is a better way to enjoy fast food. They work diligently to provide consumers with burgers, fries, shakes, and salads, without animal products and GMO’s or artificial ingredients that are served up in biodegradable materials.
With such a brilliant and clearly influential business structure, Plant Power hopes to further expand by opening ten new franchises across the California coast line.
The future looks bright for the team at Plant Power and for the future of plant-based on the go foods!
