Meat company JBS is entering the plant-based meat market with its Planterra Foods’ brand Ozo. Available in April in grocery stores across the United States, the brand will offer Burgers, Ground Plant-Based Meat, Mexican Seasoned Ground Plant-Based Meat and Italian-Style Meatballs.
The products are made from pea and rice protein and contain 22 grams of protein per serving. The retail prices will be between $5.99 and $7.99 and the products are non-GMO and don’t contain any cholesterol.
