McDonald’s customer, Simon Robinson, intends to go vegan after he found what he believed to be a pig nipple in his bacon roll.

Robinson said, “I opened it up and found that it was revolting. It has put me off meat entirely. So much so I’m considering going vegan now. It’s a fairly regular treat getting a bacon roll from McDonald’s. I always open up and check what’s inside because I have OCD.”

Only this time, he found something that looked suspiciously like a pig nipple, which has made the idea of meat much less appetizing.

McDonald’s stated that they are confident it was not actually a pig nipple. A spokesperson for McDonald’s explained, “We use back bacon in all of our bacon rolls and due to the location that this cut is taken from. We are confident this customer is mistaken in his claim.”

Nevertheless, Robinson still feels very inclined to go vegan after the disgusting experience.

This recent finding is nothing new as all kinds of nasty items have been found in fast food products. This story, however, is particularly disgusting and might sway many to rethink their desire for bacon, if not their consumption of meat altogether. Even if it was not actually a nipple, it’s still a reminder to meat-eaters that these are living, sentient beings that are being killed for their food.
