Lifehack: Guide To Eating Vegan at White Castle

It can be hard to find a plant-based option at many fast food restaurants. While it’s obviously wonderful to eat healthy and nutritious whole foods, sometimes your only option is whatever food is available to you. So, what’s a plant-based eater to do in a situation like this? Here are some tips to help you get a vegan meal at White Castle!

White Castle / PETA

In 2017, White Castle veganized the buns for their veggie sliders, making the previously vegetarian option entirely vegan! They also offer black bean sliders for another plant-based mini burger option.

You can even get the vegan Impossible Burger at White Castle!

If you’d like to make some veggie sliders at home, why not try these tasty BBQ Chickpea Sliders With Pineapple Slaw? Yum.

Hash Browns

White Castle’s breakfast options for vegans are limited, but you can still enjoy a tasty breakfast side in the form of hash browns! Try pairing them with an energizing iced tea.

Sauces and Fries

Of course, you can find french fries, the longtime favorite of vegans visiting fast food restaurant, at White Castle as well. But the most fun part about french fries is obviously deciding what to dip them in.

You can dip your White Castle fries in hot sauce, ketchup, BBQ sauce, or their sweet chili sauce. Try it as a side for your veggie sliders!
