Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker feed each other Daring’s vegan chicken in a new saucy campaign shot by famous photographer Ellen Von Unwerth. The newlyweds captured their love in the seductive new photos promoting the plant-based chicken from Daring.
Just two days after their infamous Las Vegan elopement in April, the pair went to the Los Angeles hotel Chateau Marmont to take the promotion photos with Ellen von Unwerth, the same photographer who shot their Italian wedding in May.
In the campaign, Kardashian is wearing bright red lipstick with black lingerie. Barker, true to style, is shirtless and showing off his tattoos. In one set of pictures, the pair is in the back of a limo with a large bucket of the plant chicken as Kardashian takes a bite out of the crispy breaded chicken.
In other photos, Kardashian sits on a table in lingerie while Barker feeds her spaghetti with pesto, in their take of the iconic spaghetti kiss. Another picture shows the couple smiling, sitting on the floor next to a mini-refrigerator stuffed with Daring products.
Although the seductive campaign is not everyone’s cup of tea, the two collaborated because they are committed to plant-based lifestyles. Barker has been a vegetarian since he was a teenager and vegan for 15 years. Kardashian is 95 percent vegan.
“I haven’t eaten meat since I was 13 years old, so really good plant protein is important to me. Daring is awesome, because it’s super clean and has all-natural ingredients,” Barker said in a press release. “When I went fully vegan 15 years ago, the options were basically straight vegetables, so I’m excited to see more plant-based choices on menus.”
Although Kardashian is not fully vegan, she said that it is important to her to eat a primarily plant-based diet.
“I’ve been on a health and wellness journey for the past 13 years, which has made me super conscious of what I put into my body and my kids’ bodies. I’m not fully vegan, but Travis has helped me keep to a mostly plant-based diet, which is so much easier with Daring,” she said in a press release.
