Marcus Antebi, the founder of Juice Press, is opening a new space called goodsugar in the East Village! The plant-based space opened in the Kollectiv between Second Avenue and the Bowery, according to the EV Grieve blog.
goodsugar™ was started to “make your body a fortress through my proven diet, exceptionally high-quality supplements, and my environmentally sustainable, organic juice bar pop-up in NYC.” According to VegOut, the location will have organic vegan cooked foods, baked goods, soups, and salads sold in reusable containers.
Their vegan menu includes raw vegan cheesecakes, fresh juices, smoothies, pesto mushroom noodles, chili, elixirs, pancake bread, curried dahl, and buffalo cauliflower poppers.

“I founded Juice Press — a wellness platform centered around organic, plant based food and beverages — in 2010, and built it to 85 locations across the country. I have a passion for all aspects of the food and beverage components of the wellness industry, but to me, the most important outcome of my time at Juice Press was all the individual people’s lives I was able to impact,” Antebi shared on his website.
