She and her sisters have regularly promoted plant-based options, sharing their favorite alternatives. This has had a domino effect as their millions of followers take their diet as an example. 

In this recent video for Poosh, Kim shares her recipe on how to make her favorites tacos. She includes popular plant based alternatives like Violife cheese and Beyond beef. Kim also shares tips on how to make the transition into plant based eating.

Though not entirely vegan, Kim Kardashian has regularly made a habit of showing her vegan food choices, resulting in her fans flooding stores to pick up their own vegan food options. This has been referred to as the Kim Kardashian effect as her simple promotions result in growth for the plant-based market.

It is influencers like the Kardashians that can help plant-based products to become even more popular. As people want to imitate what their favorite celebrities are doing.

This is also why it is so important that celebrities and influencers be careful what they show to their fans. As they can also encourage their fan base to do other things that are not as beneficial.

This includes things like wearing fur, eating meat, and encouraging the mistreatment of animals.
