Recovering emo kids and goths, rejoice! Put down your studded belts and your black ripped jeans, finally there is a new café that understands you.
All jokes aside, Dark Hall Coffee has opened up in Phoenix, specializing in plant-based drinks and pastries. With a goth-inspired interior, the new coffee spot launched April 1 and will have its grand opening on Friday, April 13. What better day for a goth-decorated coffee shop to open than on Friday the 13th?
Coffee and tea drinks will feature housemade nut and oat milk, cappuccinos, lattes, cold beverages and freshly squeezed blood orange juice. They’ll also have espressos, salted dark chocolate chip cookies, lavender cake, shortbread, and cinnamon rolls, all which are vegan and sound absolutely delicious.
Dark Hall’s summer hours are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, and the owners plan to extend them until 7 p.m. in the fall.
We’re coffee fanatics ourselves!
Coffee is sometimes a necessary part of the day, especially for those early mornings and late nights when all you want to do is crawl back underneath the blankets. If you can’t make it to Phoenix anytime soon, check out our plant-based coffees and coffee alternatives.

The Healthiest Peppermint Mocha
This has to be the Healthiest Peppermint Mocha you’ll ever find. Not only is it sweetened with dates only, but this drink is also blended with cashews for a frothy milk-free finish. The cashews make it perfectly creamy without the milk, plus they add a good dose of healthy fats.
