A pecan pie is in and of itself a beautifully decadent dessert, but I like to kick it up a notch every so often with this Chocolate Pecan Pie by Clémence Moulaert. Chocolate + nuts + pie = heaven. This would make a terrific addition to any Thanksgiving celebration, or simply be a wonderful treat on a cozy autumn day indoors with a good cup of tea or coffee.
7. Soft and Chewy Brownie Swirled Cookies
These Soft and Chewy Brownie Swirled Cookies by Ciarra Siller are perfect for days when you can’t choose between crackly chocolate brownies and classic chocolate chip cookies. Get the best of both worlds with these chewy chocolate chip brownie cookies, a.k.a. “brookies.”

Avocados are among the fruit and vegetables that Greece exports, and most of the cultivation is in the southern Aegean island of Crete. Here’s a Greek twist on the classic avocado toast breakfast with tomatoes, olives, lemon juice, and – of course – olive oil, which Homer called ‘liquid gold’.
