Freshly recently launched a 100% vegan menu for its customers, making it easier than ever for people to have access to plant-based foods.

Freshly has offered vegetarian options for quite some time, but now they have a separate Purely Plant menu that is entirely plant-based. There are six vegan options, with the plan starting at $8.99 per meal. The meals are always delivered fresh, not frozen, and simply need to be reheated. All of the packaging is also completely recyclable.
In the last few years, meal delivery services have been slowly catching on to the demand for more plant-based foods. This is a big step as more meal delivery services are sure to follow Freshly’s example by providing more plant-based options for their vegan and vegetarian customers.
These kinds of meal delivery services may not be cost-effective in the long run, but they do make vegan food more accessible, as they are perfect for those who live on the go and don’t have time to cook their own food.
Six meals may not seem like much, but it is definitely a positive start, and consumers hope that the meal service will add more options in the near future.
