Forager Project, a San Francisco-based company, is releasing a line of plant-based yogurt products, made with creamy cashew and coconut milk. The new products will be Coconut Cashew Milk and Coconut Cashewgurt.
Forager CEO Stephen Williamson said, “Full fat is back. We’ve combined cashews and coconut to create rich, creamy, plant-based milk and yogurt that will blow away the full-fat dairy eater.”
Their Cashewgurt is a yogurt alternative, rich in probiotic goodness, is non-GMO, and also certified organic. The flavors include berry, lime, coconut, and mango. Forager’s new Cashewmilk will come in an Unsweetened Plain and an Unsweetened Vanilla, which will be perfect for baking, dipping and morning coffee’s.
“Our goal at Forager is to make it easier to eat organic, plant-based food,” said ForagerProject co-founder John-Charles Hanley. “Animal agriculture is a huge contributor to climate change. The more that people move to a plant-based diet, the better off we’ll be.”
