If you are somebody who considers yourself a blogger, you’ve probably heard of Blogosphere Magazine before; it’s a publication created by bloggers, for bloggers, and it covers all things food, travel, fashion, and more.
Created by Alice Audley in 2013, the magazine was initially founded as a stepping stone for Audley; she wanted to use her blogging to pave the way to an eventual career in journalism but ended up falling in love with how blogging allowed her a platform to express herself creatively. However, she also became frustrated by how many blogs seemed to be run by advertisers, rather than bloggers themselves. Audley then asked herself, “What if you could curate the chaos? What if you could filter some of the amazing voices from the blogosphere and bring them all together and put them in one place?”
It was from that idea that Blogosphere Magazine was born: a publication that features interviews with stand-out bloggers and social media stars. This year, they honored the best of the best at their first annual Blogosphere Awards, which took place this past June.
Food Monster blogger and creator of The Little Blog of Vegan, Holly Jade, was one of four food bloggers nominated at this year’s Blogosphere Awards … and she won!
“I can’t even believe I am writing this blog post right now. It still seems unreal,” Holly wrote in a blog post. “I was nominated, then shortlisted and I WON Food Blogger of the year 2017 at the Blogosphere awards.”

Holly was inspired to start The Little Blog of Vegan as a way to promote a plant-based lifestyle and her love of animals.

After struggling with many food intolerances, Holly eventually found her way to a plant-based diet. “I want my blog and story to reach out to people and help with different vegan options,” Holly wrote.

According to Holly, “Through becoming vegan, I have found a new interest for healthy eating and different types of food, which I would have never have known about otherwise.”

She also uses her blog to express her love of “food photography and styling, raw baking, and all things pretty,” like these Raw Orange Ice Cream Cone Cake Pops.”
We can’t congratulate Holly enough on her win — she truly deserves it! The recipes above are just a small handful of the kinds of adorable treats you’ll find on Holly’s blog.
“Getting to work with so many talented young, self-taught food bloggers, aspiring chefs and recipe developers is a dream,” exults One Green Planet co-founder, Preeta Sinha. “Holly’s Chocolate Orange Flamingo Doughnut recipe is brilliantly innovative!”
