The brand is not known for being very vegan-friendly with its frozen breakfast options. However, hopefully this collaboration is a sign that the brand will explore more vegan options in the future.

Joe Beauprez, Marketing Director of the Eggo brand at Kellogg Company, said, “As the number one waffle in America, we knew we had to celebrate National Waffle Day in a big way. On the biggest waffle day of the year, we’re teaming up with Incogmeato to expand the wins beyond breakfast and give waffles lovers the chance to enjoy our delicious waffles in new ways all day long.”

This delicious pack of chicken and waffles was available for only one day through a giveaway. All of the winners will be randomly selected to get a free pack.

Though the combo pack item will not be available to buy in stores. Eggo has hinted that they are currently exploring other veg options to add permanently to their line.

Heidi Ray, Marketing Director, MorningStar Farms, and Incogmeato at Kellogg Company, said, “We’re always looking for new ways to make vegetarian foods more accessible for everyone. So we’re excited to partner with an iconic brand like Eggo. To put a delicious new spin on a beloved dish like chicken and waffles.”
