A disgusting clip that now has nearly 16 million views shows user Amy McLendon squeezing a white bump in a piece of raw meat while white puss oozes out.
“that was a cyst that the cow had that went unnoticed. slaughterhouses don’t care how sick the animal is,” one user said.
“Meat Is one of the top carcinogenic products in the world. This is really a surprise?” said another.
However, some users said that it is normal to find a cyst in meat. Huh??
“Low-quality meat is often from cows who had cancer,” one said. “That’s a cyst. Very common.”
“That’s a gland mate,” another wrote. “There is a few of them and always in the same spot depending on fat coverage, size, etc, need to trim them out.”
“I’m a butcher. It’s an abscess,” added another. “Just cut it out and the rest of the ribs are fine.”
An abscess is a pocket of pus in living tissue and is often caused by an infected wound. This should not be eaten. It should not be normal to find these things in our food or have to cut out these parts. A plant-based diet is the best thing for your body, the planet, and animals.
